Safe Chewing Practices
✅ Supervise Chewing: Always keep an eye on your dog while they chew to prevent choking or accidental swallowing of small pieces. Gum bleeding may occur (similar to when you floss your teeth) this is a natural process and is removing tarter and plaque. Limit chewing if excessive bleeding is noticed.
✅ Watch for Signs of Wear: If the chew becomes too small (small enough to be a choking hazard) or develops sharp edges, replace it immediately.
✅ Hydrate: Chewing can make dogs thirsty – make sure they have access to fresh water.

How Long Do Chews Last?
🦌 Chews are incredibly durable and can last anywhere from a few weeks to several months depending on your dog’s chewing style.
👉 Aggressive chewers may wear down a chew more quickly, while lighter chewers might enjoy the same chew for months.
🚨 If the chew becomes splintered, sharp or too small it’s time to toss it out.
